Maths Trail

We recently took part in a maths trail around our school for Maths Week. We had a list of activities, questions and problems to solve. In groups we followed the instructions and gathered lots of mathematical information from the environment.

Telling The Time

For the past week we have been learning to tell the time. We timed ourselves completing various exercises in 'one second' and checked to see what we could complete in 'one minute'. Here are some of our activities:

Cycle Training

Today was our first day of cycling training. We were taught how to check our bikes to make sure they are all in good working condition and ready for the road. We had a slow peddling race and learnt how to break quickly if needed.
